When should you start teaching baby sign language?
when should you start teaching baby sign language. My daughter is 3 weeks old. And do you have any tips?
Answer: Hi Sam, Thank you for your email. The recommended age to start introducing baby sign language to your daughter is at around 5 months of age or when you notice she can hold a rattle or toy by herself. At this stage she is physically able to produce some of the signs with her hands. In relation to tips for getting starting, you can read the following article on my website which highlights the 10 steps to baby sign language success: The 10 Steps to Signing Success. Keep in touch and let me know how you go. Happy Signing! Jackie
