Make your own burgers at home with this healthy lamburger recipe. Mix it up by adding your favourite veggies and sauces!



  • 500g Lamb mince
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 425g can sliced beetroot
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Shredded lettuce


  1. Combine mince and egg. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Cook on a heated barbecue with onions about 2 mins each side until browned then a further 4-5 mins each side on a lower heat.
  3. Serve on buttered burger buns with onion, beetroot, tomato and lettuce.
  4. Add your favourite sauce.

Tip: Chill prepared burger patties for about 30 mins to allow them to firm up before cooking.
