Is there something wrong with the size of my pelvis for them not to turn?

Hi, i am 27 weeks preggs with bubby number 3. My last 2 deliveries were natural births without pain relief but alot of issues. Both labour`s were identical. I spent 3 hours pushing both boys out as their heads didn`t turn and were stuck. Both times emergancy ceaser`s were called but both babies delivered with 2 people pulling them out. I am concerned this will happen again and have asked for a c- sec but was refused. Is there something wrong with the size of my pelvis for them not to turn all the way??

Answer: Hi, Thank you for your enquiry. Yes it could be the shape of your pelvis that is causing the babies not to turn but you must have adequate room for them to fit this way otherwise you would have required a caesarean section. Talk to your carers this time and discuss your care. Hopefully you will be able to develop a plan the will help avoid your previous situations and have a better birth experience. Best wishes, Alex
