The doc told me I had anti-m. What is this?
Im Huzna and im 33 weeks pregnant.I recently had a blood test and the doc told me i had anti-m .What does that mean,is it of any concern???
Answer: Hi Huzna, You have developed some mild antibodies. These usually do not cause any problems with the pregnancy. They may check your baby a bit more closely for signs of jaundice after birth. You may need some more blood tests to check the levels of the antibodies later in pregnancy. If the levels are increasing a decision may be made for the baby to be born earlier. If they stay low everything should be fine. Best wishes, Alex
