I`m still feeling a little bit discomfort, even during foreplay

hi alex, i`m 27th year old mother of new child he comes through cesarian 54days back. i have not started any sexual intercourse with my husband till now. i`m still feeling a little bit discomfort even in the foreplay. tell me after how much time a cesarian mother needed to recovery. and what`s the best way of contraception

Answer: Hi, If you are breast feeding you will need to use a mini pill as the combined pill is not compatible with breast feeding. You will need to visit your GP for a script for this medication. When you feel ready to recommence sexual activity is when you should start. Everyone is different and it is also a bit different with a baby around. You are also feeling more tired with a new baby. Take it slowly and if you do not want to get pregnant again you will need to use a reliable form of contraception. Best wishes, Alex
