I started to experience sciatic pain at 12 weeks

Alex, My last pregnancy ended in a labour that was all sciatic pain (I had sciatic pain from 34 weeks). I started to experience sciatic pain at 12 weeks and am still experiencing it now - 18weeks. I have gotten a couple of exercises from the physo but am now looking into pain relif and positions for birth as I am rather worried that it is going to be a big factor during labour again. Can you direct me to some sites that have good info on this or give me some info I can use.
Thanks Elizabeth

Answer: Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your enquiry. It is advisable to try to find some yoga in pregnancy classes as they offer some great positions and breathing techniques. Using warm water for baths is also very good as are heat packs. Exercise balls also can be helpful. Best wishes, Alex
