I am 28 weeks pregnant and have been having leg cramps at night (nothing unusual there I know). Someone recommended drinking `bitter lemon` to help with this, which I have been doing on and off for the last few weeks. Probably about 3-4 300ml bottles a week. I made the assumption that the quinine levels in these drinks were safe during pregnancy, but decided to do a little research today to find out for sure -and there are conflicting reports everywhere! I was wondering if you could clarify this for me? I am not due to see my doctor for another 4 weeks and I just may worry myself crazy by then!
