I have been in very bad pain down there and have hardly been able to walk

I have been in very bad pain down there and have hardly been able to walk at the end of the day, have discovered very bad bulging blue vulva veins, had a csection with my last child due to cord around her neck, having been undecided about a vbac or another csection, what would happen to the veins if i was to try a vbac, would it return to normal or stay bulging even more, they are really bad and so sore.
thankyou

Answer: Hi, You may have varicose veins in your vulval area. If you are prone to these they will occur if you have a caesarean or not. They may cause a little more discomfort after a vaginal birth but they will improve just as much as if you had a caesarean. A vaginal birth is always preferred if possible as it has less possible complications than a caesarean birth. Best wishes, Alex
