What symptoms should I look at so that I have better knowledge?

Answer: Hi, A placental abruption is very rare and usually there is not much warning. It tends to be an urgent and sudden occurrence where the woman experiences strong pain and goes into shock from the blood loss. Sometimes there is not much blood loss vaginally before it occurs. This pregnancy you will be closely watched and checked, especially late in pregnancy. Your baby may be born a bit earlier to try to avoid any possible complications. Best wishes, Alex
