I can`t tell if I`m doing my pelvis floor exercises properly

Its been 7 weeks and i can`t stop my urine midstream, its hard to because i can`t tell if im doing my pelvis floor exercises properly because when i lift my pelvic floor muscle my tummy and my bum cheeks squeeze together and everything i have read says thats not suppossed to happen. Please help

Answer: Hi, Thank you for your enquiry. It is important that you do lots of pelvic floor exercises after birth and even if you are not sure that you are doing these properly it is best to keep doing the exercise. Over the next few months everything will start to feel more `normal` and your muscles will feel more responsive and be able to achieve the proper `lift` that you hear about. Best wishes, Alex.
