Nanna’s scones always taste best. Here’s a simple version you can try with the kid’s at home.

Ingredients
Nana’s easy peasy scones.
- 4 cups self raising flour
- 1 handfull of sugar
- 300mls cream
- 300mls lemonade
Instructions
Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix. Makes about 14 good sized scones. Bake at 200 for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden. Best enjoyed with a nice cup of tea and lashings of butter.
This recipe is also great to use if you like savoury scones just add grated cheese and onion or ham, salami, capsicum or some cooked pumpkin pieces. If you prefer something a little sweeter just add a handfull or two of sultanas or any kind of dried fruit.
