Waking up in the middle of the night from teething Lock Rss

My son is 14 months old now and has four teeth, the two top and bottom. He has been waking up in the middle of the night for the past week, and I think his other teeth are starting to come through.

Could this be causing him some pain, and causing him to wake up everynight. He does go back to sleep eventually
Assuming nothing else is wrong, wet nappy etc, it may be. Have you used any teething gels like bongela? They last up to 8 hours and may help! My other piece of advice is not to start any new habits in trying to get him back to sleep,eg a bottle. This has happened to a couple of my friends and you may be doing it longer than his teething time!

My son is just about to turn 1 year old. I let him have a dummy to sooth his teeth as he would chew on a teething ring it was too cold. If he was really attacking his ear I would give him abit of panadol just before he went down for the night. i was given the advise of not to be scared of panadol as using it properly cannot harm them.
