Tonsilitis - any suggestions on helping bub feel better?? Lock Rss

Hi,
My 14mth old son has tonsilitis and is absolutely miserable sad . Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help him feel better?

He is on antibiotics and has been having panadol and nurofen (not together) but his fever has been hard to keep down and as I said, he is miserable! I know how awful tonsilitis can be (poor kid inherited this trait from his mummy) but at least I'd be able to suck losenges. If it weren't so cold I'd give him ice-blocks but I don't have any other ideas.

If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

Thanks, Diana
honey i think my mum used to give me im not sure though. I used to get it so bad all of the time. I needed my tonsils taken out I was put on the list. Took 5 years and when i got them out they had gone rotton in my mouth and were falling apart. They said I coulc have been poisoned but thats the doc fault for leaving me.
