Swimming Lessons - when to start? Lock Rss

I would be interested to hear when your baby/child started swimming lessons. I would like to start soon - is 6 months OK?

Hi twin mum,

My son is 6 months old and he is booked in to start his swimming lessons next week.

Most swimming schools take babies from 6 months.

Hello Twin mum,
My son Jackson started swimming lessons at 6 months. He loved it so much and by the end of 10 weeks we were able to take them under. Now it is summer he goes in our own pool and I feel very confident holding him as they teach you how to properly. I will start again when it cools down.
He even got his baby1 swimming certificate. It is so gorgeous and has gone in his baby book as a keepsake.
Have fun when you go and I hope your little ones? love the water.
