Sleeping at night Lock Rss

My baby is nearly 13 wks. Still not slept through the night. He normally had a bath around 7ish then in bed by 8ish. He sleeps till anytime between 12 and 2 this is his longest sleep of the day. After this sleep he wakes again in 3 hrs for feed and sometimes just wakes in between to be resettled. I would like it if he could have that long sleep from maybe 12 till 6. Any ideas on this or what to do about his sleep pattern, if you could call it that!

Mummy to my Darling, NSW

hi there
not all babies will sleep thru thenight early. the ones who do have very lucky mums! lol My son is also 3 months, at 9 weeks he was doin 8-9 hours, i WAS a lucky mum, he now does 6-7 hours and wakes between 1 and 3. Most babies ar supposed to do a 4 hour block till 12 weeks then start a 5-6 hour block, strating a 8-10 block at 6 months. That is what the" average" baby is supposed to do according to most books and sleep specialists.
I dont have any ideas as to push the long sleep later as my son has the smae bed time as yours and is doin the same, but i do wana tell u that ur bub is normal and that i feel the same way u do.. " please sleep thru!" lol
hang in there babe!
