Sleeping Through Lock Rss

What does the term "sleeping through" actually mean.....

I consider it to be once you have put them to bed they sleep through till after 6am.

However I have read books and internet sites that say "sleeping through" is considered to be an 8 hour sleep.

(My boy - now 6 mths, goes to sleep at 7:00pm and wakes up around 4:30am for a feed then back to sleep till 6:30/7:00am generally)

Hi Joeyw,

Sleeping through is technically 5hrs solid sleep. So your boy is certainly sleeping through.

My boy's done it once and is 5mths, and it was bliss!! Maybe one day soon I'll get more than 3hrs sleep again smile
