Heating baby food when out & about Lock Rss

What does everyone do when you're away from home in regards to giving bubs solids??

Does anyone use a car bottle/jar warmer to heat the food??

many thanks

P.S. I did buy some commercial baby food in the jars but they contain ingredients that I don't want to give bubs right now therefore I need to use my homemade food.

Kerry, WA

Hi Kerry
I'm leaving on the 24th and returning on the mornign of the 27th Dec which means 2 full days + 1 dinner + 1 bkfst.

I'll just be bringing along 3 weetbixes, 1/2 cup of apricot puree, 1/2 cup of peach puree, a tub of yoghurt, and an avocado - that'll cover her breakfasts and lunches. Then sufficient freshly made serves of vege purees for dinners (+ a small can of Heinz spaghetti, low salt) to mix with the pureed veges and some grated cheese for 2 dinners. I want to avoid the jars of food too - i know they can be nutritious but i'm really fussy about what Olivia eats.

It'll be 4 hours from door to door so that should be reasonable time for nothing to go off
