Finger foods Lock Rss

Does anyone have any suggestions for finger foods. My little man has just turned 6 months and I have given him rusks and vegemite cruskits but would love some more ideas.

Hi Natalie,

My boy is six months also. He likes to hold onto bread crusts, and finds great pleasure in squashing them on the way to his mouth. Also the odd potato chip (warm). Try also bits of meat that he can hold and crackers. I'm not too sure whether they can have kiwifruit, but that's another good one.

Hope he doesn't make too much of a mess like my little fella!!

From six months there is only a handful of things that bubs can't eat. Maybe you could try some vege pieces, anything really, banana or some toast. Just keep an eye on them when they eat.

little pieces of pikelets or pancakes or salmon rissoles how about a chicken drumstick just be sure to remove that hard lump at the end so the choking hazard is gone . good luck
