Premmies Lock Rss

Hi all,
I am hoping to speak with other prem families. My girls were born @ 32 weeks. Just having a rough time as people love to tell me they should be doing this and that and they're not.
look forward to hearing from anyone.

Hi Sue

My twins weren't premmie, but I do know many that were and I just want to reassure you that all babies develop at different rates, so when people tell you what they should be doing think of their 'corrected age' and I'm sure you'll find they're developing according to plan considering how early they came into the world.

I know it's hard sometimes, everyone wants to give you their advice but you're their mum and know them best in the world so enjoy your precious girls and if in doubt talk to your GP, Paed or Child health nurse.

Hope this helps???

My son was born at 33 weeks and it was not a very good experience at all!
I'd love to chat to anyone with a prem or special care story!
