Does your DP,DH, DF refuse to.................. Lock Rss

My DP refuses to change DD (10months) pooey nappies (and has always since she started solids at 4 months)......at first i didnt care but now it just frustrates me lol especialy if im in the middle of doing somthing and hes not i have to drop everything to change DDs pooey nappy LOL
I think most guys avoid this situation! Have you spoken to him about how much it frustrates you? Maybe you could say 'well you do this & i'll do the nappy??'

Good luck
My DH has always changed both our kids nappies poo or not, he is just as much their parent as I am and caring for your kids means taking care of everything, the yukky bits and all.
Hi

DH has always helped in every way. Bathing, feeding, helping with vomit & ALWAYS with nappies of any description.

There were times in the early days I could not change a pooey nappy without throwing up, not long after the c section. DH has always done them when he is around.

We kind of take it turns.

Oh i wish my DP was the same, he was really good when DD was first born, but then he slowly did less and less lol, he feeds DD occasionally but rarley IYKWIM. But i jsut accept it as he works FT, but it would be nice to get a break every now and then wink
Hubby changes his nappy when he picks him up in the morning or when ever i'm busy.

think ive just m to the conclusion my DP is lazy lol, my DP when he gets up work in the morning jsut brings DD straight into me (if shes awake) doesnt bother to change her <img src='https://www.huggies.com.au/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> his excuse that i dont have to get up to work like he does roll eyes and i get to sleep in, hmmm but once im awake i cant go back to sleep cause DD needs her nappy changed then her Breaky lol
dp used to have no issue changing ds nappy, but when we had dd he didnt want to cos she was too little, then he diding know wat to do with her bite etc. now shes a bit older he will change her, and ds if he poohs his undies thats my job but he will change his night nappy on weekend mornings. he doesnt do baths or cooking them food or dressing them tho.

Lol if my DH refused to change a pooey nappy he would be getting my foot right up his behind laugh laugh

You wanted a baby, you get up and help look after it!! Mind you my DH has been an awesome dad, right from the start he's done nappies, baths, dressing, bottles, solids, getting up during the night, housework etc so i have nothing to complain about!

It would sh!t me no end if he didn't help out grin

That's right!

If I were you (OP) I would be telling him to grow up! And to answer the original question yes my DH does change pooey nappies, baths, feeds, reads, takes them swimming, cooks, cleans you name it grin he is a truly wonderful Dad & Husband wub
