When to stop formula Lock Rss

When do you stop giving formula? Do you go "cold turkey" at 12 months and go to cows milk, or do you do it gradually? Any suggestions - thanks.

I'm in the same boat. Are there any benefits of putting babies onto the toddler formula rather then giving them cow's milk? Which way is more value for money?
I will shortly be travelling this path too. I would think you would introduce it slowly to see how they go. Perhaps put it on their cereal first. Regarding the toddler formula, I remember someone telling me it was a waste of money as they should be getting enough "goodness" out of their meals now and cows milk is all they need.

Mum to DD 08.08.03 and DS 12.05.05

Hi to all mums and dads

My bubs is only 5 months old, but my sister has an 18 month old and she mixed up some formula and then added cows milk to it. Gradually until he was drinking more of the cows milk than formula. He was fine and now has only cows milk.

Hope that helps smile

All the best
