Ratio of cows milk to water Lock Rss

I have been told that when your child turns one and they switch to cows milk (or soy/goats...what ever you choose) that you should "water" it down for a while. So.....

What is the ratio in which it is watered? and

For how long do you water it down?

Does any body know??

Thanks

hi there,
when my dd turned 1 i watered her cows milk about 3/4 cows milk to 1/4 water because if i put any more water in there she didnt really like it and it was just enough that it was still tasty for her if that makes sense. then as time goes on just put less and less water in.

I just spoke to the MCH line on friday because i am wanting to wean my little girl (almost 11 months) because i am going back to uni.. I didnt want to put her on formula just for one month so she is on cows milk at lunch time (still breastfeeding morn and even) she has straight cows milk. The MCH line told me there was no need to water it down, just to go slowly
