sterilizing bottles

Hi

My son is almost 10 months and a friend has told me that I can stop sterilizing his bottles now. Is this true? When do you stop sterilizing their bottles?

I stopped at around that age too. Just washed them in hot soapy water and rinsed WELL, then poured boiling water from kettle into the bottle and rinsed. Both my kids are happy & healthy!
