Subseptate / bicornuate uterus Lock Rss

Hi, I am currently into my 10th week of my first pregnancy. I had my first ultrasound in my 8th week which showed that I had a subseptate uterus or possibly bicornuate. The results also say that there is an intrauterine gestational sac lying in the mid uterus and no within either horn. There is also a single live embryo present within the sac.
I've read up about the condition of my uterus but was wondering if I should be worried too much as it says that the baby isn't in either horn!?
Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry. You are at a higher risk of miscarriage with your condition but when you pass the 12 – 16 week mark everything should continue as normal. It is very difficult for me to determine where the baby has implanted and over the next few weeks your carers will be able to work this out.

Best wishes,
Alex.
