XL baby Rss

I went for my chek up at 26.6 weeks and the doc measured me and said that the baby was the size of a 30 weeker, and it was also the first time i had put on weight (4kg). My first baby was 9.5 lbs and was two week early and he was up the wrong way so i had to have a ceaser. does this mean that this baby will be even bigger? or that i might have to have him early?

Kaleb almost 7, and Zayne 3. and 4 weeks with numb

Hi,
Thank you for your enquiry. It does sound as if you do have above average sized babies. So this time you are likely to have a baby that is of similar size. If you went into labour early with your first baby then you have an increased chance of going into labour early this time too. However, if you didn’t experience labour with your first baby this is harder to predict. The birth of a baby is normally not induced unless there is a medical risk to the mother or baby with the pregnancy continuing.
Best wishes,
Alex.
