Milk Spots Lock Rss

My baby is 3 weeks old and has been bottle fed from birth. At birth her skin was beautiful, but in the past 2 weeks her skin has come up with lots and lots of milk spots, like little pimples all over her face. Is this normal? or is there something i can put on her face to get rid of them?or should i leave them to go themselves?
Please help...

Jessica,NSW,10 1/2 month old baby

Hi,
Thank you for your enquiry. The rash that you are describing is very common and to be expected in a baby around 3 to 4 weeks of age. The best thing that you can do is just wait. Don’t try to treat the pimples with anything or try to burst them. They will clear up on their own. Just gently wash your baby’s face with warm water once a day.
Best wishes,
Alex.
