not sleeping in cot during the day Lock Rss

My six month old daughter has her naps on the lounge during the day and then falls asleep there and then we carry her to the cot at night. She does sleep through the night. What i would like to know is how do i get her to sleep in the cot during the day for the naps. She is currently still being wrapped at night but not during the day. I just don't know why she will sleep there all night but not during the day.
Any suggestions will be most helpful.

Hi,
I think it is a bonus that she does sleep through the night because this would normally lead to waking through the night and not knowing how to resettle herself, because of being transferred from one place to another.

She really does associate going to sleep with the lounge as you do your bed and it is familiar and routine to her.
If you want to change this then you would need to do some settling techniques to assist with getting her to go down to sleep in her cot.

The repetitive techniques and message are what breaks the old habit and introduces a new one.

You can get details of our settling program on Your Baby’s Sleep page or from <a href="It's time to sleep</a"http://www.itstimetosleep.com/">It's Time To Sleep DVD&BOOK.
