7 month old waking numerous times a night!!!! Lock Rss

Hi there,

I have a 7 month old baby that keeps waking most nights several times. It is usually for her dummy or she is thirsty. Unfortunately she is not a huge milk drinker and I have recently found out that she is possibly alllergic to dairy so I am currently changing her diet. She refuses soy formula and will only take small amounts of her regular formula. Very often she goes to bed without having any milk because she is too full from dinner which I give at 430pm and she is tired. When she eventually gets a feed in the morning she sometimes doesnt even want it, I only give her sips of water in the night so I know that she isnt full however she does eat plenty of food, 3 good meals and 2 deserts per day. she has probably 300-400 of formula a day.
she sleeps through when she takes a full feed at 7pm but I can't force feed her! how do I get her to take more feed at bedtime to fill her tummy and send her of to dream land? HELP!!!!!

Hi,
She is probably waking out of habit and using some settling techniques would be what I would recommend if you want to change this. You can get details of our settling program on Your Baby’s Sleep page or from It’s Time To Sleep DVD&BOOK. (It’s available to Huggies members at a great price. To access this special go to Member Exclusive Book Offers)
