unsettled 15 month old

Hi,

I have a 15 month old daughter who crys everytime I put her to bed, whether it's day or night. She cries heartedly for only about 2 minutes then goes to sleep. Is this a separation issue? When she was younger we never had a problem until about 3 months ago. I follow the same bedtime routine day in, day out, but she always cries. How do I go about changing this? Thankyou, Nicole

I wouldn’t worry too much, I think she protests to try you out but she obviously knows the routine and goes off to sleep regardless.

If you try to change anything, such as lying with her for the first few minutes, you would only cause a sleep association that you would be sorry about later.
