Night Waking Lock Rss

I have a 14 week old baby boy and he seems to often wake in the night for no apparent reason.

I feed him at around 6pm he then has a bath and playtime then a top up feed at around 7:30pm and off to bed. He has no trouble settling himself from awake to asleep at this time or any other time during the day.

He then needs a feed at around 2:30am and again at 6:30am or 7:00am however he seems to wake up at midnight and 4:00 or 4:30am for no apparent reason. I know he is not hungry as I have tried feeding and he is not interested. If I get to him as soon as he starts stirring and give him a pat he will go back to sleep, If I don't pat him he will eventually become wide awake and will then take another hour or so to go back to sleep.

Any ideas??

Hi,
Many babies simply wake out of habit. Try using our settling techniques when he wakes.

You can get details for this on <a href="http://www.huggies.com/au/pregnancy_parenting/yourbabysleep/">Your Baby’s Sleep</a> page or from It’s Time to Sleep DVD&BOOK

Huggies have a great discount offer on at the moment – see <a href="http://www.huggies.com/au/about_huggies/special_offers/bookoffer/">Member Exclusive Book Offers</a>
