Getting 2mth old past the 40 minute sleep mark Lock Rss

I put my 2 month old down to sleep awake and he puts himself to sleep but he just can't resettle himself at the 40 minute shallow sleep, therefore he never gets to sleep more than the 40 minutes and not being fully rested makes him fairly grizzly when I get him up. He only does this during the day. At night he sleeps 3-4 hours between feeds (breast) and goes straight back to sleep. I do have 2 other children who are fairly noisy around the house - could this be contributing? Can you help me with some tips on how to get him past that 40 minutes?
Hi,
Have you tried using any settling techniques to resettle him? You would also be best to wrap baby when using settling techniques as at this age it would have better results for you.

You can get details of our settling program from <a href="http://www.huggies.com/au/pregnancy_parenting/yourbabysleep/">Your Baby’s Sleep</a> page or from It's Time To Sleep DVD&BOOK.

Huggies have a great discount offer on at the moment - see <a href="http://www.huggies.com/au/about_huggies/special_offers/bookoffer/">Member Exclusive Book Offers</a>

Cheers Maree
