sleeping through the night Lock Rss

My son is 13 months old and still wakes twice a night once at around 2 am and again at 5.30 am
he needs a breast feed and sometimes needs rocking back to sleep.
He also only goes to sleep on my lap he cann't go off to bed alone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
You son simply does not know how to sleep without you. When he falls asleep with you and wakes and is elsewhere (eg his cot) he does not know how to resettle himself without your comfort.
If you want to change that then you would need to teach him to sleep independently and that would mean using controlled comforting techniques to settle him.

You can get details for our settling program on Your Baby’s Sleep page or from <a href="It's time to sleep</a"http://www.itstimetosleep.com/">It's Time To Sleep DVD&BOOK.

Cheers Maree
