waking too early Rss

Hi again,

My son, just turned one, and i have finally got rid of his overnight bottle. That went fine for a few weeks, but over the last week he wakes just before 4.00am. He goes to bed at 6.00pm, no probs and has two 1.5 - 2 hr sleeps during the day. He only gets grizzly the last half hour before these bed times.

So far we have been happy to start the day at 5.00am, but this is ridiculous.

I usually leave him in his cot till about 4.30 - 5.00 and just go in and give him his dummy and turn on his aquarium, but he throws the dummy out and screams louder.

When i have finally given in and got him up, he screams louder again till he gets his bottle!

After his bottle he is happy and ready to play.

Help!

Hi Tianne,

Try pushing forward the naps and settle for the night a little later each day for about a week and see if this helps, (a bit like daylight savings). Sometimes we have to accept that we have early risers, but as you say, 4am is not acceptable.

Good luck

Thanks Maree,

I will give it a go!
