loud grizzling noise during nite Lock Rss

My 5 month Daughter Tia has started to grizzle loudly at random between 1 am to 5.30am while sleeping. We dont know what is causing it or what we can do to stop it and get more sleep. At the moment we have gone to put the dummy back in her mouth and some times pat her until she stops grizzling. We find after this she either wakes anywhere from 15minutes later to an hour or two later, which amounts to alot of broken sleep.

During the day she eats well and has 3day sleeps the first 2 sleeps range from anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2hours and one late afternoon for usually an hour.During the day we wrap her and put a dummy in her mouth and she only takes 5-15mins to settle to sleep with out much help. When she goes to sleep she pops the dummy out and we leave it out unless she wakes up.

Any suggestions to help her sleep quietly through would be greatly appreciated.

Adelaide 5mths Baby

Hi Julie,
I think you would be better just to let her resettle on her own as all these attempts will only result in her needing your attention to resettle.

If you have any concerns about the noises whe is making, mention it to your doctor next time you are in the surgery to rule out any health issues.

Cheers Maree
