un settled sleep. Lock Rss

My 5 month old used to sleep around 8 hours a night, going to bed at 5.30 - 6, then waking for a bottle and would go straight back to sleep for about another 3 hours, now for the last few weeks she is waking 3 or 4 times through the night.
I have just started back at work between the hours of 6pm and 10pm, I usually put her to sleep around 5.30, not long after I have gone she is awake again, and my partner has a very hard time setteling her down again, and getting her back to sleep, then I am up to her 3 or 4 times through the night. Some times she will have a bottle other times she will just go back to sleep after I have tucked her back in.

Hi,

Babies change their routine and habits as they grow and sometimes it's not for the better. If you want to get her sleeping again you may have to try some settling techniques to assist her. She may also be sensing that you are not there making it difficult for your partner to settle her. The techniques we teach can be done by both of you. You can get details for these on Your Baby’s Sleep page or from <a href="It's time to sleep</a"http://www.itstimetosleep.com/">It's Time To Sleep DVD&Book
