Whats going on??!!!! Lock Rss

Hi Maree I hope you can help in some way!!

Isabella will be 11 months on the 29th june and for the past month she has been really unsettled during the day, she just whinges and wants to be held all the time. And at night she seems to be waking a couple of times crying and nothing we do will settle/calm her until she is picked up, once picked up she is fine and happy and all she wants is to play so we let her play for about 10-15 minutes and then put her down and most of the time she falls asleep with no fuss until she wakes again a few hours later.
She used to be a great sleeper 12 hours straight from 7pm-7am! and now its just all over the place.
Some nights she sleeps through and some nights she is up a couple of times.
We just have no idea why this is happening, and if you think controlled crying will help put things back in place?? We have tried everything for her to settle but its just not working, she does use the dummy but if we try to put it in her mouth she crys even more.

She is formula fed and has her last bottle at 6pm.

Also what is the best way to get her to sleep a little later so she can wake in the morning a little later, at the moment she has been going to bed at 6.30pm-6.30am.

We need HELP!!!

Thank you in advance!! sorry for such a long post!!

Sometimes trying everything only confuses both parents and baby. I really believe that controlled comforting would work for you as it offers a clear and repetitive message that it’s time to sleep. Can I suggest you get a copy of <a href="It's time to sleep</a"">It's Time To Sleep DVD&Book which is heavily discounted on the Huggies Member Exclusive Book Offers at the moment.

Cheers Maree
