babies travelling by plane Lock Rss

i am a first time mum with a 6 week old baby girl. I would like to know it anyone had any experiences taking their baby on a plane how did it go? how to prevent them from crying because of their ears???

i'll be travelling on a plane in december and would like to know others experiences on this.

Hi I took my son on a plane when he was 4 1/2 mths old. He was absolutely fine. We flew to NZ and took a dummy for his ears. He didn't cry on take off or landing so was obviously in no pain. We are going to fly with both kids in Dec so will be interesting to see how Harrison goes now he's 18 mths and Chantelle will be 4 1/2 mths.
Good luck and remember the filght is only a small part of your holiday.

I took my daughter at three weeks, i was told to give her something to suck (breast, bottleor dummy) at take off and landing to fix the pressure in her ears, and she was fine. Just let her get tired before you get on!
