hi.....my bub is now 11 weeks.... dribbling everywhere and trying to chew the bottle on the side of her gums. some people say it is too early, others say it can happen at this age..... anyone experienced anything similar??

Nicki''s Mum, NSW

Bennett is 15 weeks and dribbling a lot and putting things in his mouth My Health nurse said this is developmental rather than teething.. that is still a while off yet apparently.

Hope this helps

when was your bub born?

Steph VIC Mummy to one gorgeous boy

Hi Annette

Dribbling and chewing on everything in sight is pretty normal for young babies. However my son's first two teeth came through at 4 1/2 months and my mum told me I was only 3 months old when my first teeth came through, so I think it may have something to do with genetics. I didn't even know he was getting teeth until the morning they appeared, except that he woke up 3 times that night when he'd normally slept through. It's never too early - the nurse told me that very rarely a baby will be born with teeth!!!

All the best
