what medicines can I take when breast feeding? Lock Rss

I suffer from hayfever and I know during pregnancy the dr said I could take a drowsy hayfever tablet at night for a couple of nights but now I'm breast feeding I know everything gets to the baby straight away and I'm reluctant to take something just in case. I probably should go to the Dr but thought someone might have some useful tips.

When I had a really bad flu a few weeks ago there was very limited things I could take which meant the flu lasted longer then normal. However I could take Claratyne, 1 every 24 hours. This will still be in your milk however only a very small amount. I didnt notice any change in my milk or in the baby.
