Cato Rss

For a boy, what do you think?

CATO
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Ancient Roman
Roman cognomen meaning "wise" in Latin. This name belonged to Cato the Elder (Marcus Porcius Cato), a Roman statesman, author and censor, and also to his grandson Cato the Younger (Marcus Porcius Cato Uticencis), a politician and philosopher who opposed Julius Caesar.
(Behindthename)
is it said Kate-oh or Cat-(as in pussy cat!)-oh?

dont like it either way though - sorry smile
Lol very different. Dont mind it but I know I wouldnt call my child that.....but never know someone out there probly has or will.

Aleigh
It reminds me of Peter Sellers' Pink Panther, he had an assistant named Cato. Very funny too lol

I am familiar with the name in Roman history, but I think for modern use it sounds too much like the very popular girls' name, 'Kate'.

Sorry but it's not my cup of tea.
Kate- oh. I love it smile
Hey there, I'm not really a fan of it sorry.

To me it sounds like an aussie nickname for Kate (like Wayne-o, Steve-o, etc etc).

It's very different though smile
