Traditional English names? Lock Rss

Hi

I'm from the UK, albeit a few years ago now. I am looking for a good traditional, but different English name.

I have come up with Edward, Mason or Samuel.
My husband also likes Spencer, but i'm not so keen.

My favourite is Edward - any views out there? Is that quite a popular name in Australia too? I didn't want it to be too popular, but just a name I don't need to spell out every time I say it!

Thanks all!

Helen

HW, TAS

William, Oliver, Ewan, Thomas, James.

Off the yop of my head.

I must say I do like Edward and Ed for short. A very manly name indeed and not too common.

Some other English name suggestions are:

Alfred
Archer
Austin
Braden
Bradley
Brent
Clifton
Cody
Erwin
Emmett
Edmund
Finlay
Harris
Heath
Lex
Marshall
Stuart
Maxwell
Trent
Winston
