I am just over 37 weeks and i had a scan this afternoon showing a baby still breech and had the specialist today to book a date for a "External Cephalic Version". Is it true or does anyone know if there are some specialists who won't do Cephalic Version because of the risks?. Does anyone know if it's also true that the baby gets very distressed and then an emergency cesar is then preformed anyway? I read that sometimes a breech baby has the cord around the neck preventing it from turning but it is not able to be seen on the scan. I would be really Thankfull if there was anyone out there who could help me out, i did not find my specialist very helpfull on my questions at all and hoped that maybe someone here has gone through it all before.
This is my 3rd pregnancy and both my children before were born vaginal.
