Too bl00dy long!

Started pushing just after 11pm and after several hours and using every position ever imagined, the midwife finally realised DD wasn't coming out without some extra help. She was finally born at 6.18am with the help of an episiotomy and forceps. Although on my hospital forms it has 5.5hrs (i don't know how they work that out?)

Your mind is a garden, your thoughts are the seeds,
You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.

DS1 = 1 hour

DS2 = 9 minutes...and even then, none of it was really me actively pushing. In fact his head was OUT and I never even realised until DP said something. laugh

DS1 about an hour, i didn't realise how hard you had to actually push
DS2 & DD1 only a couple of mins they were out really quickly

An hour of pushing. She just kept slipping back up when I stopped pushing!
Maybe a couple of minutes both times. 2 pushes each.
37mins. Felt like nothing after 12 hours of labour though!

I didnt realise how hard you had to push with my first one too. She took 1 and a half hours.
the other two were out pretty fast. My last baby was 28 mins start to finish so I think that the pushing only took a few minutes of that time. I dont know it happened sooo fast.

DS - 4 or 5 pushes and about 15 minutes, if that.
DD - 2 pushes and about 2 minutes. She was crowning and I didnt even know, I was asking for the epi and the midwife was "uh no, your baby is crowning".

Thats what happened to me with DS1!

DS1 - 1 hour 10 min
DS2 - 2 pushes, 4 min

Hi,

DD1 - 2hrs of non stop pushing and ended up with a ventouse assisted birth.

DD2 - 2 pushes, 4 mins and she flew out.

DD3 - 3 pushes, 5 mins

smile

This makes me feel more hopeful if we have number 2 it will be easier second time!!
I was 3 hours of pushing with ventouse assisted too.
