2 mcs and im only 24 Lock Rss

Hey ladies

ok im new to this topic i will give a lil bit of my story here it goes....

Im only 24 and yesterday i had my 2nd mc before i got pregnant i got tested for everything and they came back all clear and then i fell pregnant everything was going fine untill i hit 5wks and 5 days then my world fell apart friday the 5th of august i found that i had light pink discharge when i wiped well the pink turned into light brown and then the light brown turned into red blood with clots and i went to the emergcey room and i sat there from 10pm till 1:30am to get a bed and then i had to wait til 7:25am to see a doctor then he checked me over and said that i have nothing to worry about then he took bloods and then sent me home well a couple of hours later i had to go back to hospital cos my bleeding got heavier and they did a ultrasound and i found out that there was nothing in my uterus this happened for my first mc aswell but i was 5wks and 6 days now i know that im only 24 and im still young but do u think its right to start trying again after u stop bleeding or should i wait for a couple of months

Aw hun, GBH to you!
I know how hard it is ~ I had a MC at 11 weeks in June. The doctors say that the reason for my MC was because I had fallen pregnant too soon after coming off the pill. Apparently there's nothing wrong with me so they told me I could try again straight away.

I was completely overwhelmed with grief and I know that the only was I will heal properly will be to get pregnant again and have a healthy baby this time. So I did try again straight away once the MC bleeding was over, but didn't fall. When I got my AF (after 5 weeks) it was really heavy and clotty (sorry TMI) and I think I probably shouldn't have started trying again immediately. I know it's hard, but if I were you, I would wait until after your first AF. It gives your body a chance to clean itself out, and it gives the doctors a LMP date to go by for when you get pregnant again!

On the positive ~ I have been told by a fertility specialist that women are more fertile after MC. So give yourself some time go grieve, maybe wait for one cycle, then join us in the TTC group smile

Remember that the only person who can make the decision about when it's okay to start again is YOU! You'll know when you're ready.

Oh bugger, I understand how you are feeling. I'm also 24 and I have had 3 losses.
The only thing I did to help me deal was to just continue on like normal, but think about my babies everyday. To me, I feel like they were babies, and that I birthed them and had a child, I just couldn't keep them. They were needed elsewhere to be another baby's guardian angel.

I also had a whole heap of tests done too, nothing out of the ordinary came back. I am now pregnant again and s!!tting myself.

Hi Katie,

I think we have chatted before. I have had 3 miscarriages in a row and know how you are feeling. I also had lots of tests that said nothing was wrong, so ended up seeing a naturopath. I am now almost 14 weeks pregnant and I am sure it is thanks to her smile Maybe something to think about, good luck xx

hi,
I'm new here so not sure if I've replied right or not unsure
im 24 as well and have had 2 mc in 3months, and as far as anyones concerned we are both pretty healthy and eat rather well etc... I'm still waiting for af after the last mc, my husband and i have both gone to see a naturopath and i have a plan to loose about 6kg ( get to my ideal weight) and also we will both go through a 3 step detox process over 6 weeks, then hopefully will be as healthy as i can be and my husbands sperm as healthy as it can possibly be (new production) then after 70 days we can get back to ttc. just have to wait out the next 5 months, but if it means a healthier and full term pregnancy and a healthier baby then its worth it. I'm hoping this will help as getting pregnant is not the issue its staying pregnant. good luck with everything. so to answer your question if your doctor is fine with everything try again, or try some other things like i am.
