Two miscarriages in a row.

I am in a very similar situation to you also, I've had 2 MC within 8 months of each other and both resulting in D&Cs. My hubby and I want another baby desperately and my 3 year old DD is now asking for a sister but I am so terrified of losing another, as like you, I feel like my body has let me down.

It has been 3 months for me and my OB suggested waiting at least 3 months before we try again mainly to give my body time to get back to "normal" (whatever that is).

My 2 cents is to start trying when you feel strong enough too. I'm clining to the old saying, "3rd times a charm" so I'm hoping this is true for the both of us!

I would give yourself time to heal emotionally before attempting another pregnancy, but at the same time, you will never have a baby unless you keep trying, as heartbreaking as the process can be.

My obs told me that there are reasons to wait or not. It depends on why you are miscarrying as to whether you should wait. I had three misccariages before I was diagnosed with AFS and once I was given the right medication I got pregnant the very next month and all is good so far.

I would be talking about your dr about investigating why you are miscarrying, although sadly they often won't investigate until you have had three. But a couple of blood tests for you and your partner wouldn't go astray.
