AMH BLOOD TEST Lock Rss

Has anyone here had the AMH test and if so what were your results and outcome. I just had one and the doc told me the normal levels were over thirteen but under thirty, mine was at forty which is not a good result. Supposedly I may not be releasing eggs. Even though the opks give me positives.
It might vary clinic to clinic? A diminished ovarian reserve is indicated by anything over 13, but I don't think my clinic considers 40 to be a bad result? I am 25 and my AMH is 26. Technically 40 should be good, to say you still have good ovarian reserve.

Here's a link to my clinics chart http://www.fertilityassociates.co.nz/informatio...

Have you had your LH and FSH measured?? Do you have any other underlying conditions like PCOS or anything?

Hmmm now I'm really bloody confused. well not so confused that my doctor clearly has no clue about anything and she should not be in a family planning clinic. She really has done a ring around me. I was diagnosed when i was around 17 with PCOS but had my daughter at 21 and my local doctor told me i was mis diagnosed and i did not have PCOS. I have seen a gynaecologist when i started having troubles with my periods again and she did a internal ultra sound and told me i had classic PCOS overies but plenty of egg reserve (was around 2-3years ago) now my current doctor has told me i have no signs of PCOS but the AMH score was bad and she couldn't see me conceiving naturally and i need to get into the fertility specialist asap as my time is running out. I have to wait 13 weeks for my appointment with flinders sa and in the mean time I'm booked in to have another ultra sound for PCOS or ENDO? and a blood test to see if I'm actually ovulating. My doctor had no clue what at home OPK's were and wanted me to have the blood test on day 21 when i have told her i don't ovulate until day 25???? ok ok ok so i think its clear re reading this....i need a new doctor. Our sex life has almost diminished as i feel horrible that it is me that is broken.

I would go see a new Doctor and have a whole new panel done while you wait to see a fertility specialist if that's the way you want to go. How old are you now? I think if your Dr is useless, I would disregard what they've said in terms of your AMH atm, as it may actually be fine and they don't have enough information/knowledge to say otherwise.

Endometriosis does not typically show up on an ultrasound, only other things that can point to it (i.e. fluid or endometriomas which are blood filled endo cyst things). You should have your day 2 and day 21 (or adjusted to your cycle length) hormones done to measure Estrogen, LH, FSH, and finally Progesterone. TSH should also be tested.

I have PCO but still good AMH, and had a laparoscopy in June to remove endometriosis.

I hope that helps.
