Wow some of you are already in the TWW! I hope it goes quickly for you - and good luck!!

I'm still waiting for O... which is lucky because my partner is away with work this week lol. I've decided this month I'm going to do OPK tests to pinpoint ovulation, but I'm not going to monitor my cycle closely by noting down any symptoms etc (I use fertility friend and the charts can be quite detailed). Last month I got a bit obsessive about it lol.

And omg what is up with weird dreams!! Last night I dreamed I was pregnant and felt the first kicks... which then went crazy and it was quite painful, and when you looked at my belly you could see kitten faces pushing out through my skin LOL I think I was having a litter of kittens! How disturbing hahaha
Just *trying* to update the list (sorry if it's wrong, I'm new to all of this! haha)

Hi all

I am new here and don't know most of the abbreviations but I just need to let it out.

My husband and I are TTC #1, have been since October last year and tonight we had some good friends come around and announce their wonderful news that they are have a baby, my best friend is also pregnant, a good friend has had a baby and another friend is due any day now. It seems to be everywhere I look people are pregnant or have just had a baby. I can't help feeling deflated that we aren't getting pregnant and the month after month wait is disappointing and upsetting.

I'm only 24 and my husband is 28 but my cycle has become irregular lately so I am wondering when we should seek a medical opinion.

Sorry for the vent ladies but I just needed to let it out.
Thanks x
Mrs L V ... It sucks everyone else around you is preggo or popping out babies and you're being left behind sad it always seems so much more in your face when you want to be doing it too. Kinda like you don't notice another type of car on the roads until you buy one, then you see them EVERYWHERE lol.

I totally understand your frustration. TTC is such an emotional frustrating time. I'm also feeling deflated at the moment, just that I feel like it's not going to happen. We're trying for my #2 and my partners #1. My daughter is 5 1/2 years old now. After issues with a massive ovarian cyst last year, and now my age, I just don't know where I sit on the fertility scale any more lol. I guess all we can do is try!

Being so young, your Dr probably won't put you on to a specialist until you've been TTC for one year. If your cycles aren't regular you could try to talk to them about that? There are vitamins and things you can try to see if that helps things - Vitex and B6 apparently can help. Have you been doing ovulation tests or anything so you know you're ovulating?

Try to keep positive smile It took 10 months for me to get pregnant with my daughter, and I remember it feeling like such a long time, and crying when I'd get my period... but it did happen with a bit of time xx
Pinkbitspinky the same thing did happen when I bought my car actually lol.

Yes I have been using Ovulation tests and I am ovulating, my cycles are just getting longer with each month (last October I had a 30 days cycle and then my last cycle was 38 days. I will look into the Vitex and B6, thank you.

I had a good cry last night so hopefully I'm all cried out for a while lol x
Mrs LV, it can't hurt getting a check up. My period became irregular, and then it just stopped all together, that's when I was diagnosed with PCOS.

I feel your frustration and pain though, huuby and I have been TTC #2 since January last year. Every Tom, Dick and Harry around us are falling pregnant and having babies. I feel so deflated and useless sad
It might just be line eye or wishful thinking but I think I might maybe have just got the teenie st squintiest shadow of a line on a clear blue at 11dpo...???
Sorry I just read posts above mine ladies...feeling pretty insensitive right now sad it's an emotional Rollercoaster and drives most of us to the edge at times. I really hope you get some answers and positive results soon. Big hugs x its much more likely my eyes have prob just gone fuzzy from staring at a stick of pee for so long :/ lol
Farmer_mum I hope it ends up being a BFP smile

I'm being so impatient and want to test already but I know it is too soon sad
Good luck farmer mum I hope it's a bfp for you ? do another test and see if anything comes up on that! I hear clear blues can show faint lines with the blue dye so maybe try a pink dye test? (Yes, I'm a pee on a holic lol)
Oh really sad bum I'll get a different brand of test and try again Tues then...or maybe I should just wait for af...I've got one more test left but it's a blue dye as well so maybe I'll just pee on it tomorrow for the heck of it...if blue dyes give off false faint positives that's prob what it is I wasn't holding out much hope for this month anyway..will update you when I know Def one way or the other...
