TTC January 2018 Lock Rss

It's the new year! If you are trying to conceive this month please use this thread for support and to ask advice! We wish you all the very best of luck this month!
Really hope this is our month been ttc for 16mth and now this is my first round of clomid fingers crossed im 7dpo
Hi All,
We've been trying TTC now for about 6 months - which I know is a short amount of time compared to some - but I've recently been showing signs of Endo (my Doctor has said). For the first four months off the pill my Period was regular and relatively painless (with the exception of mild period cramps in the belly and upper legs). However the last 2 cycles have floored me - with pain, fatigue and vagueness. And have become irregular.
Doc wants us to continue trying for the next two months before sending me to a specialist but I'm thinking of seeing a Naturopath now to try and regulate my cycles again and assist with balancing my CVM to see if that might help.
I use the Clearblue Ovulation tests and am showing an LH surge every month - and had an ultrasound which has shown no sign of Cysts.
Has anyone had any experience with seeing a Naturopath for Endo, Cycle regulation and Fertility?
And is it worth checking it out?

Thanks Ladies! And wishing you all the best on your journeys of TTC.
I'm not trying to conceive this month, but we will be in march!

I completely have baby on the brain!
I'm obsessing with reading as much books as possible, I've started taking the most natural pre-conception vitamins I could find, I've been to a new doctor (as we've moved) for pre-conception check ups. I don't feel he really cared, only asked me a few questions about health history, which I've never had medical issues, and sending me to check folate, iron and cholesterol levels. Then I think maybe I should go to a proper obstetrician who specializes in this sector.

I'm trying to lose a few kgs before we actively try, I'm eating better to accomadate the weight loss, and upped my fitness.

Is it completely normal to feel this way? I just don't feel like anything I'm doing is enough! And I'll never be prepared enough.
All I want is to create a healthy sanctuary for our baby to grow.

Sorry ladies! First time at this. X
Hi All

We have been TTC for over a year.
I have previously had children - but we just can’t seem to be blessed again

Finally got tests done nov 2017.
He is sweet as
They told me to lose weight - highly motivated I did (16kg)
After losing some weight they agreed to try Clomid.
I am just on my first monitored round (today was my last day)
Blood test Monday and scan Tuesday to see if what needed to happen has happened.
Eeeeekkkkkk exciting

But after a year of BFNs (I’ve bought so many pee sticks in the past year I feel like a right git haha )
Just bought a pile of cheap ones - that pick up a lower rating - as I know the next few weeks will be nail biting to see if 1 round of Clomid was enough for us.

Good luck all on your journey
I wish I’d seeked help earlier - I’m mid 30s now and never thought conceiving again would be difficult.
Feel like we are actually doing something about it.

Hello!
We've been TTC for 6 months now - I think everything you are doing sounds perfect. I hadn't done a lot of prep leading up to us trying. And now that we haven't conceived (And my cycles have suddenly gone completely out of whack) I'm looking at minor changes in diet and just doing a little more exercise. Luckily I don't need to lose weight - so my focus at the moment is on regulating my cycles. You don't want any drastic changes to affect your cycle either.
I said to my partner I'm thinking about stopping tracking and charting - but he doesn't wanna go back to square one so I'll stick to it for the next couple of months.
I think because you haven't started TTC yet you should just enjoy this time and be excited about what's to come.

I've got my fingers crossed for you that it happens early on in your journey
xx
PinkMumof3 - any updates?

I’m about 5dpo - my first round of clomid.
Folded and took a pee test - BFN.
But it is early days......
