Aromatherapy Oils Lock Rss

Hi Everyone

I have heard that there are a lot of aromatherapy oils that you should avoid during pregnancy.

This might seem like a silly question but I was just wondering if "avoid" means do not use them at all (not even in a burner) or does it mean that you just can't use them on the skin (for example: with a carrier oil for massage)???

It's just that whenever I feel stressed or sick I tend to burn lavender and peppermint oils, but I have since heard that these oils should be avoided during pregnancy and am now worried.

hi,

yes avoid means avoid.....if they are the essential oils, they will have strong properties even if they are burning. they can trigger labour, and unless you are due, you just dont want that to happen.

i have a list of the ones to avoid if you would like them just let me know.
