Poem for all you Mummies-to-be Rss

Hi all
Here's a poem for all you Mummies-to-be smile

I'm your little miracle, safe in Mummy's womb,
Be patient while i grow just right,
We'll hold each other soon.

Your coming months will be full, buying rattles, clothes and bibs,
Filling my room with teddy bears, jammies, blankets and a crib.

Smiling when i hiccup, laughing when i kick,
Pouring over baby names, deciding which one to pick.

I already love you, although our eyes have yet to meet,
I felt your joy inside, the day you witnessed my heart beat.

Celebrate my new life, and the love from which I grew,
We'll be together soon, your little miracle and you.
Hi Kellie

That is beautiful, it had me in tears, (not that it takes an awful lot at 36 weeks).

Thanks for sharing. It really sums up alot of feelings right now.
I saw this one on a website n thought it was so beautiful...

I love you, little baby
You're such a part of me.
Can't wait to hold you in my arms,
And hug you tenderly.
No matter what you look like,
You're beautiful, my love,
A precious gift bequeathed to me,
From heaven far above.
Each time I feel you moving,
My heart is filled with joy,
To think that very soon I'll hold
My little girl or boy,
I'm counting every moment,
Till you're mine at last, my sweet
It won't be long until your birth,
Then finally we'll meet.

Danni, WA,

Hi ladies,

Those poems are so beautiful!! They certainly bring a tear to the eye! I have written poetry all my life, and since I became pregnant I haven't even tried to write anything because I've been feeling so sick, but now I feel all inspired and happy and excited. I hope I can soon post a poem on here, maybe it's just that words can't describe the feeling at the moment??

Thanks for sharing!
